Highlighting Multiple Records
To highlight multiple records, you can follow these steps depending on whether you want to highlight a continuous range of records or non-contiguous records:
Highlighting a Continuous Range:
- Click on the first record you want to highlight.
- Hold down the left mouse button and drag to select the range of records you wish to highlight.
- Release the mouse button when you've selected all the cells you want to highlight. The entire range will be highlighted.
Alternatively:
- Click on the first record, then hold down the
Shift
key on your keyboard. - While holding
Shift
, click on the last record in the range you want to highlight. The records in between will automatically be selected.
Highlighting Non-Continuous Records:
- Click on the first record you want to highlight.
- Hold down the
Ctrl
key on your keyboard. - While holding the
Ctrl
key, click on each additional record you want to highlight. Each selected record will be highlighted, even if they’re not next to each other.
