Changing the Pressure
- With the heat press off, put a piece of paper on the platen.
- Close the heat press, and assess how easily the paper can be pulled out. If it slides out easily, the pressure is too light. If it requires significant force to pull out, the pressure is too heavy. The goal is to achieve medium pressure where the paper can be pulled out with some resistance, but not easily.
- Locate the black knob near the top of the heat press.
- To increase the pressure, turn the knob to the right.
- To decrease the pressure, turn the knob to the left.
Tip: Between adjustments, open and close your press to feel the changes in pressure.
