How to Remove Helmets from Inventory
Helmets are not "deleted" in this application. The helmet's status is changed, so any history tied to it is always available and kept intact.
Using the Helmet -> Update screen.
- Go to the Inventory -> Helmets screen.
- Select the helmet from the search grid that you would like to remove.
- Click the Update button at the bottom of the screen.
- Change the Status field from "Active" to "Inactive".
- Click Save, and the helmet(s) will not show up in your default Helmet inventory search.
NOTE: If the helmet was added in error and was never meant to be in your inventory, you can choose Status = "Void" instead of "Inactive".
Using the Helmet -> Batch Changes screen.
- Go to the Inventory -> Helmets screen.
- Highlight one or more records on the grid. (See Highlighting Multiple Records)
- Click the Batch Changes button.
- Select Status from the Change Fields dropdown.
- Select "Inactive" to update the selected records.
- Click Update. This will update the information of the selected records on the grid.
- Click Save when you are finished making your changes. This will save your changes in the system. If you made a mistake, you can click Cancel without updating the records.
